2019 China Titanium Industry Annual Conference and Titanium Industry Summit Forum were Held in Baoji

When it comes to China Titanium Valley, industry celebrities will get together in Baoji. On the morning of April 25th, 2019 China Titanium Industry Annual Conference and Titanium Industry Summit Forum were held in Baoji, Shaanxi Province. The conference was sponsored by the People’s Government of Baoji City and the Titanium Zirconium Harium Branch of the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association, and was organized by the Baoji High-tech District Management Committee.

Yuwei, Deputy Director of the Raw Materials Department of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Jia Mingxing, Vice President and Secretary General of the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association, Cao Chunxiao, He Jilin, Li Helin, and Zhang Jinlin, academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Wang Ninggang, Baoji Municipal Party Committee Standing Committee, and Deputy Mayor of the State Council and other people attended the conference. Wang Wensheng, president of the Titanium Zirconium Hafnium branch of the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association, made a report on the work of the Titanium annual conference.

In his speech, Jia Mingxing said that, as the branch of the industry association, the Titanium Zirconium Hafnium branch should make great efforts to serve for the government, service industry and service enterprises in the new situation. It should strengthen contact with member organizations and strive to play a coordinating role, continuing to build a platform for exchanges, and actively connecting with major government projects and promoting quality and efficiency in the industry.

Wang Ninggang addressed in the conference. He said that, in recent years, Baoji has made great efforts to implement the innovation-driven strategy with the goal of building the "Baoji·China" and has successively built innovative platforms such as the National Technology Research and Development Center, the National Titanium Product Quality Supervision and Inspection Center, and the Titanium Valley Nonferrous Metals Trading Center. The "China Titanium Valley" Titanium Industry Exposition has been held as a national event for two years, consolidating industry consensus and accelerating industrial transformation and upgrading. At present, Baoji has formed a Titanium industry cluster led by Titanium, and private Titanium companies have flourished. In 2018, Baoji's Titanium industry achieved an output value of RMB 45 billion, and the supply of Titanium and Titanium products accounted for 60 % of the country's total and 20 % of the world's total. "Baoji·China" was listed as one of the 50 industrial clusters in the country. Wang Ninggang pointed out that Baoji will take this annual conference as an opportunity to focus on the goal of "Silk Road Titanium Valley and Smart Baoji" to strengthen innovation drive, expand industrial applications, improve industrial clusters, and speed up the construction of a new Highland for the development of the National new materials industry for the national strategic industry and Chinese manufacturing contribution Baoji "Titanium" elements. At the same time, we also hope that the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association will continue to support the development of Baoji's Titanium industry and cooperate with Baoji in the areas of technology exchange, science and technology, product research and development, and industrial cooperation, so as to achieve mutual advantage, mutual benefit and mutual benefit.
