Scenery of Wanfo Mountain in Hunan

Wanfo Mountain lies in the heart of a 168-square-kilometer-long Danxia Landform area in Tongdao, Hunan. It occupies 100 square kilometers, with its highest peak reaching 635m. Wanfo Mountain, or Ten Thousand Buddhas Mountain, is named after its numerous Buddha-shaped peaks which face the same direction. It is also known for the red 100-meter-tall rocks sculpted by wind, rain and time into extraordinary shapes.[China.org.cn]
